4.5 - 5 weeks pregnant

Hi there. I am wanting to know if anyone knows if this is normal. I am 4.5 -5 weeks pregnant and have just had a scan as I was having dull sharp pains in the middle of my pelvis (it only lasted 2 days). The scan didnt show anything in my uterus... is this normal? my hormone level is 187 which is low...

Your dates may be off a little unless you now SPECIFICALLY when you ovulated you could be behind what you think by several days which would make a huge difference.  At 4 1/2 to 5 weeks the most you would see is  a gestational sac.  Is he going to repeat the scan in a week or two?  What about repeating the HCG test to make sure your numbers are rising as they should?

Hi there

they did do a trans vaginal and it came out clear as far as no eptopic. My pains have gone today and have been told it could just be the baby embedding itself?! fingers crossed!
he said he couldnt see anything in my uterus so I am not sure if that is normal or not at 4 - 5 weeks?

did they do a trans vaginal ultrasound? You have to be like 8-9 weks to see anything through the belly.

Those numbers may not be low for you. You need to be checked for eptoic pregnancy and that needs a trans vaginal ultrasound. You need to go to the ER casue that is life threatening!!!!

Did they say anything to you about not seeing anything? That would be odd if they did not.
