Horrible Back Pain! HELP!!!

Okay so Exciting News I turned 20 Weeks today! Yea half way through. But on the other hand, starting last night I am having this horrible back pain on my right side only. It doesnt matter how I sit, lay, etc Its like a constant ache. I know its from baby and things getting settled. but I am currently an hour away from my house sitting in a shop with my husband as he is fixing his car, so no way to drive anywhere and get things, and the shop isnt what you would call as equipt with certain things either. Any advise as to how i might relieve the pain sitting here. I have another 4-5 hours to go. I hurt, Please any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I do get up and walk around every 1/2 hour or so, but like I said its a mechanic shop, I can only do so much and walk certain places.

Update for you guys, I am home and had a hot shower had my husband give me a lower massage. I can still feel baby sitting to my lower right, and i have mild back pain but its not as severe as it was. I am going to try and get some sleep tonight and hope that it does not come back and it was a one time thing.

Acline: I might be looking into that, I am a very thin and frail chicka since like before pregnancy, and my sister was the same. She had a lot of complications with her son, I am thinking i might have the same. I just want to go the cheapest route, and Fortunately but unfortunately I am going to be going off medicaid shortly so my insurance will kick in, and then I have a percentage to pay :/ My husband was a 10 lb baby and I was a 9 lb baby.. So i am kinda of scared to what mine might bring during this pregnancy in regards to pains and ache lol Thank you!

if your pain is really bad, you can have your doctor prescribe you a maternity cradle. they'll send you to a prosthetics place(where they make prosthetic legs) and they'll make one especially for you. I have pgp, and my baby is sitting so low that my whole lower half constantly hurts, and nothing relieves it except my cradle.

I wasn't able to buy one today. apparently its an online item only so i have to wait until Tuesday to order it but its $20 and ill let u know as soon i get it

I am going to check them out too, unfortuantly we dont have much money just yet until I start working and my hubby gets another paycheck in. But If you dont mind letting me know how it works that would be great.

Thank you, Yea I am not sure what we are having. We are waiting to find out at the delivery of our baby. lol But boy or girl ugh its painful. I am going to keep my self a little mobile. but right now I have part of my blanket shoved behind my back as i am sitting in a chair, and I am going to go home take a hot shower, have my hubby rubb some lotion on my back and give me a massage, then I am going to use a heating pad and some icy hot. I am very skinny and tall, and have never weighed more than 130, so my body is def adjusting to knew things right now and a lot of weight towards the front. (Baby is also kicking me on my right side too, so maybe thats where he/she is sitting) I am going to mention it to my dr on wed. when we go see him next. Thanks tho.

mine started around 23 weeks just on ym right side too! are u having a boy cuz they sit low? i use a heating pad at night right now sit up against something to ease the pain stay sitting down tho its the best way to help it

Stretching has helped me some but I'm going to walmart to buy a maternity support band. they supposed to help
