The fair!

I love roller coaster and stuff like tht but ever since i found out i was pregnant i havent rode no roller coaster but i have a question. The rides at the fair are not as fast or serious to the ones at kings dominion. Is it okay for a pregnant women to ride the rides at a fair?! I am 6 months pregnant and i was just wondering!

I was 5weeks pregnant and got on a roller coaster and my son came out healthy and fine but I wouldn't recommend anyone pregnant getting on rides.

I read that there is no study on weather it's actually proven safe or unsafe but they assume the extreme jolts and movement can cause placental abruption which can cause early labor and stuff so especially since your 6 mos I would avoid it but that is your choice. I know if your showing enough some operators won't let you on the ride

Don't do it. Especially if u are 6 months now. You only have 3 more to go :) fairs will come later on. Have a babysitter baby sit for a couple hours and have fun. This way you won't harm your baby or yourself. Placental abruption is very serious not just for the baby but for you as well. Or try going somewhere else. We have worlda of fun here in kansas city and they have certain rides that are marked whether or not you can ride if you are pregnant. They aren't as thrilling but maybe the baby is getting a real good thrill in there. Lolbut ywa fair rides are definitely not the safest as gatorgirl has stated.

Dont do it. Although it may not be super fast the constant stoping and going of some rides and the pressure from the speed could cause placental
abruption which is when the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus. I would not risk it.

I went to Disney and rode only rides that did not have extreme jolts and such. Rides my 3 year old could ride. So they were mostly like a trolley threw a story. They were all posted safe for pregnant woman and I also asked the attendants.
You should always ask first if its not posted.
But I personally would refrain from fair rides their not the safest.
