Throwing up.... can i take anything??

Hello ladies... i am currently about 8 wks pregnant(will find out for sure tomorrow with u/s) but in the last week i have been having horrible!! morning sickness... i am nauseous all the time.. have to eat very small amount every 2 hours to be able to keep from feeling so bad... last saturday i woke up and had breakfast, then while i was making lunch i started throwing up and threw up for probably 15 min straight.... then felt so weak i could do nothing but lay down and sleep... today i tried eating an orange for breakfast (instead of the glass of milk i had on saturday hoping it would be better) but guess what?? it was worse!! i threw up like crazy!! i am weak i dont feel like eating anything else cause i hate throwing up and am afraid anything i consume will just make it worse... i have a docs appt tomorrow and will def take this up with her... but i wanted to see if any of you ladies have any suggestions as to what i can eat that wont make me feel so bad.. or if i can take any medication at all to help this...

Any input will help soo much!!

thank you!

I would call your doctor. I had bad morning sickness my first trimester and my doctor prescribed me something absolutely amazing! It made my sickness so much more easier to deal with!

I have found that eating carbs has helped prevent my throwing up. Often there were times when I was on the verge but I would eat some crackers or a sandwich and would feel 100 times better. I also ate more frequently and smaller portions. When I ate too much it would make me feel just as sick. Just make sure that you are consuming enough because you dont want to lose weight in your first trimester. Your baby takes nutrients from your body and if there arent any then there might be an issue. I would bring this up to your doctor and see if they also have some suggestions for you. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!
