To drink or not to drink...

Here's the thing... my wedding is Saturday.  The reception is Saturday night.  We hired a bartender and we're going to make a big party out of it.  The problem is I am 20 days late for my period.  I have taken 4 home pregnancy tests already, one just today.  I had all intentions of NOT drinking at my reception, but the more I think about it, If i'm not pregnant I'm going to regret not having as much fun as I could.  I plan on taking another HPT Saturday morning.  If that one comes out neg. I think I will go ahead and drink.  I know that it probably won't hurt the baby, as a matter of fact before I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter I did quite a bit of drinking at a halloween party, and she's healthy.  But I wouldn't drink If I knew I was pregnant for sure.  I just don't know...  What would you do? I don't have insurance so I can't afford to have a blood test done...

I agree with your plan, test again that morning and if it is still negative then go for it. I mean you are obviously under a lot of stress so that's probably the reason. I just think you would be disappointed if you didn't fully enjoy your wedding.

Congrats on the big date =D

To set your mind at ease, go to the Dr.'s or clinic and have blood work done...then have fun!

If you are twenty days late i would think you should definitely be showing up on a pregnancy test by now. Maybe its late because of the stress of the wedding? Have you been ttc? Or are you just assuming it happened becausew your period is so late? On your wedding you will probably be drunk of the atmosphere anyway.
