Is it true that if you watch a scary movie while pregnant it will harm the baby?

My boyfriend LOVES scary movies. So that's like all we watch. And my little boy is healthy and perfect.
The only thing I don't like about it, is sometimes he picks really disturbing horror movies and right before bed, and I have very vivid nightmares.
But other than that I've never had a problem with them.

Dont worry there arent real scary movies anymore i havent seen a good one in years and years. I always get my hopes up and they stink.

Alright thanks ladies. I really wanna see that new movie Mamma but my bf said I couldn't cuz it'll hurt the baby. Totally made me mad cuz he's gonna go see it and he knew how bad I wanted to see it.

Haha, I never heard of that...I don't think It's true. But I don't like scary movies any ways since my boyfriend works overnights and I will be scared sh*tless and won't go to bed haha.
