I would call the doctor office tell them what happened.  Any time your unsure of what to do your OB nurse is there to help give advice or send messages to your doctor.  Just call talk to ob nurse see what they suggest. I got hit from behind a while back and later that day started having neck pain I called ob nurse and she put me on hold came back and said the doctor said no and ifs or buts I had to go get checked out. Everything was fine thank god.

You can think everything is ok til the cows come home many people feel connected to their body but you cannot see what is going on inside so in reality you really have no idea until you have a physical examination, just to be on the safe side you do need to be checked out.

I was rear ended in a snow storm last month and right away even if i felt i didnt hit my belly i called my drs office.. they send me to l&d to be monitored for 2 hrs. Baby was fine and kicking even right after the incident but u never know. My dr was not worried he said the babies well protected inside believe it or not.. and if a hammer doesnt go near belly hes good. But i cant help but worry. I even fell a few days ago and landed on my thigh and i went in to check my babys heart. Better safe than sorry.

Doctors are there for a reason but your connected to ur baby and you will know if you shoild get checkd ornot. I think I would go get a quick check personaly but really if baby is kicking and ur okay I wouldnt really stress about it and dont feel bad if you know your baby is fine then baby is fine.

I was in a car accident I got checked I didn't hesitate its my baby. its still a collision no matter how serious. you should have got checked you are not a bad person for not getting checked..but it is common sense to get looked over after any accident serious or not especially so when you are pregnant!!

I called labor & delivery they asked me a ton of questions n they said if I want to come in and get checked that's fine but if I'm not having contractions bleeding or cramping they weren't really worried I told them I started reading online about ppl who go into labor cuz of car accidents n I started getting nervous she said I need to calm down I'm just upsetting myself over thinking either go in and get checked or call my Dr n let her know tmrw but not to worry anymore or my blood pressure is going to skyrocket
