Uhhh...milky-colored liquid coming from nipple!

What is this? It was coming out of only one nipple...not areola, my actual nipple!! I've never seen this before, normally if I squeeze the bumps on my areola I'll see pus-like stuff (sorry TMI) but this was coming out of my nipple and was like beige-colored (i'd say watery milk looking).
Any ideas?

i think it's a hormonal reaction. it's not an early pregnancy symptom, it happens in late pregnancy that

i had the same thing coming from my right breast. except it was a little greenish. but it aches all the time & i'm not pregnant either. it's been happening since last October. i went to the doctor but she tried to say it was from me stopping my birth control but its started when i still was taking it & it still does it now & i've been off my birth control since the end of September.

I have been having the same thing happening to me. It happened today, and that's what made me look it up. I'm was curious to know if I was pregnant, or if it was caused by something else. Sometimes it is clear, but this morning, i just squeezed it a little bit (barely) and mily clear stuff came out of my nipple. I'm away out of the country untill the middle of september, so i was hoping somebody would know what it is, and if i could possibly be pregnant.

I actually was going to jump on here to say the same thing.....if you are not pregnant, leaking from the breasts is not really a "normal" thing....Esp. with you mentioning you had something scabby on your nipple as well, those are 2 things that are not really completely normal.....it is probably nothing, but it def. warrants a question to your doctor.  Again, I am not trying to scare you, but it is better to be safe.  Every time I have went for my yearly check-ups with my GYN, before the breast exam, they always ask me if I have had any unexplained discharge from the nipple...just for safety sake I would bring it up to ur dr.

read the replies above MPM....not being rude, but i know nothing about breasts till i read this post lol....apparently some leaking is ok as one poster mentioned....

not to freak anyone out, but on 1 site, it does mention if no pregnancy is detected, leakage can be a blocked milk duct.....or ummmmm.....an early sign of breast cancer

but that same site does say it is very possible to have leakage VERY early in pregnancy....
