hcg levels

My hcg levels are only 347 and I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant. I worry about miscarriage. Any one have low hcg levels? I did ovulate late so doc thinks that's why it's so low. Sorry but I'm a worry wart. I've been ttc for over a year and i really want this. I've had miscarriages before and i have pcos and read miscarriage is higher with pcos. Please send me good feedback!

Just wrote it down and checked and 40 days is 5w1d. I was going by my baby app which says I'm 5weeks 5days. So I'm right on track. Had a mathematical error there for a sec.

The two week thing is based on a 28 day cycle, and ovulation on day 14. They use the entire cycle because most women (or doctors) do not know when ovulation occurred, however they DO know when your LMP was (or at least 90% of women do) so they go on that. Because you have irregular cycles, LMP will not work out as well because you ovulate randomly with irregular cycles. If you know 110% you ovulated around that time (charting and/or using OPK's) go off of that date for now and set up an ultrasound to be done in 3-4 weeks. It will give you a more accurate answer. Anything sooner can put you at risk of not seeing much, causing further stress and concern.

My lmp was December 10th and my period was due around the 10 of January...not sure since I have irregular periods. I'm on CD 40. And yes my ovulation date is somewhere between the 28-30 of December. See? It's confusing! Lol and I said I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. Going by my last period I'm 5w5d.

What I'm confused about is they count the two weeks before conception (in my case almost 3 weeks before). If the entire cycle (starting the first day of your last period) is used to determine gestation, why would I be considered 4 weeks5days pregnant instead of 5weeks5days just because I ovulated late?

Using your ovulation date (which is December 31st I believe) you would only be 4 weeks and 5 days (give or take a day or so) and in that case your levels would be perfect for how far along you are.

If you're only 19 dpo, you're not 6 weeks pregnant.

Oh and i ovulated late in my cycle. I'm on cd40 but as I said only 19days past ovulation. My periods are very log and unpredictable. My last cycle was 43 days and 32 days before then. My cycle is always all over the place. Doc thinks I have pcos.

He's not sending me for more blood work. And I'm about 19dpo. I'll be getting an u/s next Wednesday so hopefully I'll know by then if my pregnancy is viable or not. My doc is a quack. Never does anything like he should and he's always more concerned with pushing me out the door then answering my questions. I'll be finding a new doc asap.

All hCG levels will start out low and climb. Only one number however is not a clear sign of how things are progressing. In a typical pregnancy they will double every 48 hours or so. Is he sending you for more blood work at all, and do you know the day you ovulated on?
