Update...p'd off!!!

Ok so a few months ago I literally walked into the clinic went straight to the lab and asked for a blood pregnancy test, handed them my ID, got my blood drawn and an hour later got the results...TODAY on the other hand. Went to the clinic had to go to the after hours desk to ask for the blood test, they said they don't do them (WTF???) until after a urine test. So they offered to do a urine test, and even though I was sure it'd be negative since I had JUST peed, and had been drinking AND it's 230 in the afternoon...I went ahead and did it. THEN the a hole at the after hours desk said they only do quantitive blood tests, and informed me that I was WRONG and there's only ONE type of blood test (again WTF???) and when I asked about the sensitivity of the urine test all I got was "it's 99% and VERY sensitive..." Ok WTF ever! There ARE TWO freakin blood pregnancy tests, and when is this urine test "99%" accurate??? He didn't even ask if I had missed a period yet, in which case I would have told him it's due tomorrow or the next day HENCE WANTING A BLOOD TEST!!! AND to start my conversation with this DUMB*** he asked WHY I wanted a blood pregnancy test!?!?!?! I told him "um, because I think I'm pregnant" I even showed him that I had brought my at home FRER pee test with me, and he said "oh those aren't very accurate" OK...and your extensive knowledge means I should believe every word that comes out of your stupid mouth!!! UGH!!! Then that a hole asked when he said my test was negative if this was a good thing...like it's any of his business and then in front of other people at the desk he continued to talk to me about my results, and asked how long we'd been trying and was telling me that I could get medication if I had been trying unsuccessfully...IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE!!! One, he's not a doctor and shouldn't be discussing any of this with me, two he doesn't need to announce my results to the world, and three he doesn't need to discuss my TTC in front of everyone it's none of his nor anyone else besides my husband and my doctors business! I am sooo freakin p!ssed!!! I'm filing a complaint as soon as I'm done writing this.

OMG! I swear that sometimes the people on bases think that they know everything... they obviously don't know anything about pregnancy tests! Complain definitely... did you get your urine test at all?

Most of the morons that work at the miliary clinics don't have a freaking clue.  Especially those that don't work in a speciality clinic.  This dude probably wouldn't know a positive test from a negative one if the woman was standing in front of him 9 mos preg.  I

FILE A COMPLAINT it is probably a HIPPA violation - call the clinic and tell them you are going to file a HIPPA complaint.. maybe a supervisor can resolve this for you.  Unfortunately I recent dealt with an uneducated (I did not graduate from college but I DO NOT go around discuss things I have no idea about to come off like I know what I am talking about) - "genetic counsler" - she told me that it was concerning my HCG levels were dropping from 11week to 19 week - I explained to her that was supposed to happen as you peak at 12 weeks... I also confronted her on a few other inaccuracies in her conversation... needless to say - I figure people like this are just there for the paycheck and not there for the career of wanting to help and caring.... he was just trying to make his day easier and my dummy was just trying to get me to pay for an amnio.. best of luck...
