Urinalysis?

I was at the obgyn this morning for routine 30 wk check up. The Dr. asked if I had any symptoms of a UTI which I have not. He told me that there were nitrates showing up in my urine but no other sign of infection and sent me to the hospital to get another urinalysis. No one has called me with any results yet. What could be causing nitrates in my urine aside from a UTI???

Have every right to give them a call.
I'm the meantime,  drink a few bottles of water to flush out anything that could be problematic.

That *****. I'm mostly worried because they haven't called with the results and I have heard that untreated UTI's can cause problems. My fiance keeps saying if there was something wrong they would call but I don't really trust that to be true with the local hospital/obgyn.

They said I had a uti 3 different times. I felt fine..  They put me on antibiotics. It happened to me frequently.
Now I feel like I have one. Very painful.. But I'm 36 weeks,  so it could just be baby pains.
