Regular fetal hiccups/29 weeks

Hello everybody.
I'm 29 weeks pregnant and for the last 2-3 weeks,my baby's having regular hiccups.
I know it's the second time I'm writing about this, but hopefully this time someone can advice me =/

I read this pregnancy book where it says that ongoing regular hiccups should be reported to ur doctor coz it can be fetal distress or some kind of cord problem.

My girl's having hiccups everyday as i said above, couple of times a day. They last 5-15 min each time.
No one ever mentioned to me that i should be aware of frequent hiccups.

Does ur baby have hiccups in utero? If so,how often?
Have u heard that hiccups can be sign of distress?
Thank you

Thanks for the replay :)
I'm trying not to worry believe me lol
BUT as I said,I made the mistake by googling it and all i found was : regular hiccups=cord problems.I have no idea how to reach this new doctor of mine during off hours, since I havent even saw him once and i certainly dont wanna call the hospital about this.I might sound bit silly, dont u think? hehe

However,Im glad im not the only one experiencing this.Hope she won't get them too often now coz she got bigger and i feel the more.It can be annoying sometimes.

Oh,yes-what I find strange is that she gets them right after i get up in the morning.

Girl you ain't got nothing to worry about.
My son is a little over 2 weeks old now and oh my GOD girl-
When I was pregnant with him this child, everytime I turned around he had the hickups starting at about 25 weeks till the day I had him.
He'd get them every few hours and would last for just a few minutes up to almost 1/2 hour!

Now that he's here, he still gets hiccupes several times a day and boy does he get P*SSED! lmao!
He can't stand them, and I don't blame him the hiccups are annoying and he annoyed me when he'd have the hiccups in utero cuz it's so repetative and it seems like they were so over dramatized when I was trying to get comfortable to sleep. lmao

Perfectly normal don't worry yourself guh.

MissingMyAngel~ Hiccups are like a little tiny repetitive movement. Almost like repeated kicks, but they keep going and keep going for a while. I know they're hiccups when I get more than 5 in a row.

Maya~ rest easy, hiccups are normal because baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and practicing "breathing".  Some babies get hiccups multiple times per day in utero. in both my pregnancies, my son's would get them several times a day at some points and they'd last FOREVER it seemed. Today my son had hiccups that went on probably about 10 or 20 minutes. I'm nearly 37w
