...and a bathrobe for when you get out of bed and walk around. and baby book to get the foot prints in. I over packed last time, i never used anything. This time i just have toiletries pretty much and will throw in a clean set of clothes when its time
I packed so many things into my bag and barely even use any of them. The hospital got a lot of the stuffs. I was in hospital grown the whole time, too much bleeding. Just pack a set of coming home outfit for both you and the baby, plus a fresh shirt for daddy if he is stay at the hospital with you. They wrap the baby in blanket while you're there so you really only need the outfit for going home and a couple of blanket to cover the baby and block out the sun during the ride home. The sun can be too much for a new born since it's dark inside mommy's belly. My baby was born with sharp nails so mittens are very helpful. Otherwise Hospital got everything the baby need like diaper and wipes which you can take home with you. And about a manual breast pump if you plan on breast feeding, my nurse gave me a free one :)
All your soap lotion maybe a gown but I.wore hospital gowns bcuz I bleed a lot. About 3 or 4outfits for bby a pacy or 2 receiving blankets hats mittens lol I think that covers it
..good luck :)
I have packed: nursing bras, nursing tanks, pjs I don't mind if they get bloody, tank tops, socks, nursing pads, personal hygiene products, camera, phone charger, lotion, hair brush, hair ties, batteries, baby book, clothes for my fiance, and my favorite candy for afterwards. I'm also a c section. I have a separate bag packed for my princess.. complete with coming home outfits, bows, kits, hats, socks, and a few outfits in different sizes. Hope this helps!
