birth control/pregnant

I have been off of Orth Tri Cyclen Lo for about a month. My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby. I have heard that when going off of the pill you can have "Pregnancy symptoms". I am 5 days late and have had some symptoms. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Is it possible I could still be  pregnant? If I still don't get my period should I take another test?

The pill really messes up your body ...that's my experience. It took me a full year to "recover" there was one month that my cycle was 45 days when I finally got my period. Your cycle may not go back to the way it used to be so wait a couple months and track everything and go by that to try and conceive. Use the ovulation tracker...it's really great.

I would take another test if you don't get your period in the next 2-3 days.  Your period may just be off because of going off the pill.  Your body is adjusting to the hormone changes.  I would say if you get another negative test and are over 1 week late then maybe you should call your doctor and see if he may want to do a blood test or if he suggests you wait it out a little longer.  Good luck and I hope you get your answer soon.
