HELP! THE DOC SAW A GESTATIONAL SAC BUT NO BABY AND IS TALKING ABOUT GIVING ME A D&C HELP!
Here is my story! I went to the ER cuz I had a little spotting and a positive home pregnancy test. That day my hcg levels were 961. Monday I went to my regular doctor and did another hcg and my level was 1950. That thursday I went in for an ultrasound and doctor said I do not see a baby we will have to test your hcg levels again If we do not see a fetus next week we will probably have to do a D&C. So friday got my hcg levels back from thrusday it was 4000 Today I went to the ER cuz I panicked my HCG levels today were 6000 I had a urinary tract infection and they said that they saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac but I am extremely early I dont know what to do I am very scared please HELP I ALREADY BBURIED A CHILD I DONT WANNA LOSE ANOTHER!

seeing a yolk sac is an extremely encouraging sign, stay positive, you will probably see your baby at the next scan!
We need a little more information. Do you have any idea how far you might be? And what are the dates you had these draws done. In a viable pregnancy the hCG will generally double every 48 hours.

Well based on when you ovulated you would be 6 weeks 5 days with a due date somewhere in March of next year. At that point, they should be able to see a little more, such as a fetal pole. Based on your LMP you would be 7 weeks 1 day now. Do you have regular cycles, and is it normal for you to bleed for 10 days?
Well doctors will use LMP to date a pregnancy, not ovulation. For example, when a female is 6 weeks pregnant, the baby only measures 4 weeks.
Accounting for IF you ovulated June 13 (ovulation only happens one day, and the egg is only viable for 12-24 hours, so I'mma use this date) and you count to now the baby would measure at 4 weeks and some odd days. If this is how far you are, your doctors would be stupid to say you need a d&c, as everyone knows 4 weeks is too early to see pretty much everything.

I ALSO HAD A URINARY TRACT INFECTION THE OB DID NOT SEE IT IN URINE BUT THE ER DOC DID! HOW DOES THAT GRAB YOU
Grab me? I'm not too sure what a UTI would have to do with anything. It shouldn't affect the pregnancy or dating at all.

It's very possible it was just never tested for. It's hard to say. Did the people who said you were 4 weeks along give you any form of due date, or anything?
The Er said "You are way too early for us to give you a due date and right not we can not geuss or say how many weeks you are but the pregnancy right now is going normal and you need to follow up with an obgyn well my appointment is on the 26th this month!
Ahhh. Weird they would say it's too early for a due date. Maybe they don't like to if they're unsure of the viability. I mean, your levels are going up as they should be, and if you are 4 weeks and some odd days what you're seeing is exactly what you're supposed to see. The only thing you can do now is wait it out and see what happens on the 26th.
YEAH IT WILL PROBABLY DIE AT LEAST I DONT HAVE TO BURY IT AND PAY FOR FUNERAL COST.
I had same problem but I was only four weeks. If ur numbers are doubling u are probably fine, but stay on top of it. My last period was June 3ish and I'm 9 weeks so if I had ur period 17ish then u should be seeing at least something. Unless ur not as far along as we are calculating.

I'm not sure why you're hoping for worst. Or why you're actually going so extreme. As I said, you have no actual signs you're even having a miscarriage. Why do you say your numbers going up don't mean anything, because it does.
At this point levels going up and doubling would indicate a healthy pregnancy vs a positive ultrasound. Ultrasound machines range from how good and how clear the image is as do ultrasound techs range from experiance. Also in miscarriages hcg levels usually decrease instead of increase. The spotting is most likely from the uti. I wouldn't be too worried right now. Wait another week and get a repeat ultrasound and more blood taken.
well i don't know i am very traumatized i went through hell with my first they told me to just go home and wait for her to die. well preaclampsia set in and she had to be delivered she was 11 oz 11 inches so please forgive im just traumatized.
I understand this, but generally this would make you hope to have a healthy pregnancy, not say that you're hoping for the worst and that at least this time you don't have to pay funeral costs.
Are you sure your dates were right as well? For her to be a 26 week baby and be 11 oz and 11 inches is very tiny. That corresponds more to a 20-21 week gestation baby. I know my own daughter personally was estimated at 14 oz at my 20 week scan.
