And yeah sometimes he feeds a bit then stops crys and 're latches on again etc. I started on fenugreek t make sure my supply ain't low and it's really boosted my supply up,, I got more then enough milk soo that can't b the problem. The doctors just saying I ain't producing enough but I am cuz I breastpump loads to. My baby only poop every few days. Maybe that is the problem?!?
Hiya babybump3 yeah he very colic and was up crying then fell asleep and had poo and woke up happy and fed , I been having a few issues lately where he seems very uncomfortable and don't wanna eat so took him docs and they said give him bottle to top him up. He don't really want that much or non at all he breastfeed better then he used to I suppose. Mizzztaylor how come they asked u t put baby on bottle? Bottle causes teat confusion and might b chance baby won't latch on.
Does He feed or a tiny bit then cry?If so then you have prob eaten something that he does not like. Also try feeding him from the other breast,My daughter always preferred feeding off one breast than the other. Also it could be colic so when he lays dowm in thatnposition to be fed it cojld be making his tummy sore.
I wish I had some wise advice to give you. :( I am wondering if you had given your baby a bottle at all. My baby is 3 months old as well and her dr wants me to start her on a bottle and I'm afraid she will stop breastfeeding if I do. Is that hat happened to you? If you haven't done it yet, maybe you could call the lactation consultants at the hospital where you delivered. They may have some useful tips.
I'm trying to use capol as its sweet and maybe I'm thinking sugar water!
What could you use besides honey?
I've always been told by every doctor, book, and research article to not feed an infant honey due to their unstable immunity level? It's interesting your doctor told you honey over anything else?
I tried it with capol still no luck :(
My doctor told me to dry to put a little dot of honey on the nipple or something sweet .. I asked this question just because I was curious ( my daughter will be 2 months in 2 days ) & that's what she told me to do if I ever experience that
