Weird craving.

So I've been craving dirt for weeks. My fiancé thinks I'm crazy but I'm really going crazy & tempted to eat some. Would eating dirt be harmful to my baby?

I just looked up bean sprouts because I was curious and it says DONT eat them because they can contain E. Coli and Salmonella poisoning !

You should tell your doctor about this.  It's called pica,  & it usually means low iron

Yes, don't eat it! Maybe try and find some kind of food that has an earthy taste? It might help your craving and won't be harmful to you or your bubba :)

Sound's like Pica. Yes that would be bad and usually means that there is a vitamin deficiency somewhere. Let your Dr know about it so your levels can be checked out

I dont think dirt would be a good idea but talk to your doctor about maybe having a deficiency in a vitamin so you can start taking something for it

Probably because that's unsanitary.
