Getting Discouraged

So some of you may know my situation but for those of you who don't.... I am 39 weeks pregnant and my doctor says that my body is showing no signs of going into labor soon. This is my third baby which makes it weird. My cervix is way high and thick and still posterior. I have contractions but they are doing nothing. I have been drinking Red Raspberry Leaf Tea and Primrose Oil Gel Capsules and NOTHING! I've been trying sex and that gives me contractions for a couple hours but then they go away. I have tried so many things with no luck and I'm getting a little discouraged. I want to be able to hold my baby at least once while she's still alive. (She has T18) Any suggestions?!

I've tried nipple stimulation before and during sex.

Can I just day how much I admire you we were told at our 12 week scan that our baby had a raised NT and that we would need an amnio to rule out t21,t18 and t16 we declined the test as I could not abort our baby no matter what i,m nearly 20 wks now and it,s a waiting game for us but like u I want this baby to come into the world on his/her terms and if he/she don,t make it then thats what was meant to be, enjoy the time u have with your little girl I,ll be thinking of you both x

My doctor will not perform a C-Section unless my life is at risk. I agreed. The reason being is because it is a major surgery and it doesn't give my baby  better chance at survival anyways so its pointless basically. He won't induce me either because since I am.not showing any signs of labor he says my body will not react to the medication and it would just be miserable for me and it can lead to me needing a C-Section due to complications. Thank you all for your continued support. I really appreciate it. I did explain my concern about holding my daughter to my doctor and he assured me he would help me any way he could but we don't have many options at this point.

I think you will probably go straight into established labour, dont be discouraged as your body and cervix knows what it needs to do and will do it :)

I hve been following ur story ever since... N have been feeling the pain u r abt to go thru... Unfortunately as c section is not ur options theres not much doctors will do unless they break water themselves to induce labor... You should consult him tell him ur fears of unable to hold ur baby girl one last time. Mostly doctors dont really care if thy c no hope what so ever which is annoying and harsh on us beings as we completely rely on them... I hope this works out for u... N this baby becomes ur lil miricale... My prayers are with u..

Ive read about your baby's story and I admire how strong your being. With you knowing that your baby might not live long after birth. Can you ask doctor to induce you or do a csection so you can hold her (incase and god forbid) she does pass away soon after birth. Or before itll happen in womb?
