Round Ligament Pain

Is it normal to have round ligaments pain just from laying down? I napped for a while and when I woke up I had an excruciating pain on my left side! It hurt so bad I was actually screaming out in pain! Has anyone else experienced this?

I have, I was at the hospital the night before my wedding, and the night before!!! At the time I was about 24 weeks pregnant, I was in soooo much pain....but a strange twist was they sent me home and called it round ligament pain told me to use heat patches and rest and try streching, a few days later I got a call from the nurse turns out I had a infection, a baterial infection!! Soon as I was treated the pain eventually went away, so maybe being checked out throughly will help...hope all goes well
