I miscarried in April, Is it too soon?

So I had a miscarriage in April of this year. and I took a test this morning, a digital read out one, and it read pregnant. Is it too early? Can these give out false positives?

I went to a pregnancy center yesterday , b/c of course my doctors can't see me for like 2 weeks. but I am approx 5.5 wks due around july 18, 2009. I just pray everything goes smoothly this time! Thanks everyone for your advice/comments!

If you had a m/c in April its safe to say you are pregnant again and congratulations to you. I m/c'd November of last year, was pregnant again in March, m/c'd in april only to be pregnant again in June - I am now 28 weeks with twins so its all possible. Good luck and have a happy healthy nine months!!!!

Well I was joined Weight Watchers, and have been taken diet pill Slim Quick. Well i took only 2 pills. Do you think that that could give me a false positive. I just took another test, and it said positive again. I hope that I really am pregnant, and everything goes okay this time. I am nervous!! I do got an appt this afternoon just to do a pregnancy test.

I know how you feel, Jen! I had a miscarriage in 2006 but got pregnant again right away and my beautiful daughter is playing right next to me and is a very happy 20 month old! Good luck and get those levels checked out ever few days!

I had a miscarriage in the middle of april of this year....I got preggo again in july (last period being at the end of june) I am now 21 weeks and I feel that baby moving all the time...

Thanks, I'm scared to get excited. I am trying to find a Doctor, I do not want to go back to the one I had when I miscarried. Thanks :)

You can take a pregnancy test 6 weeks after a loss to get an accurate reading. If your levels returned to 0 after your miscarriage then I'd say YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!! Congrats!
