Thanks, I have cholestasis and my bile acid levels are extremely elevated so the sooner the baby comes, the safer it is.( for baby) hopefully everything just works out the way its supposed to. I was hoping to not be induced this time but it is what it is. As long as my baby is safe, that's all that matters
Some docs say 36 weeks is term but most say that 37 is safest (if you can't make it to 40). I've been induced early on two occasions due to preeclampsia and eclampsia. If you can make it to 37 weeks without risking your health, I suggest waiting.
Thank you so much. I'm going to start walking and doing other stuff too. I d was just a little curious as to whether it would work at all since I'm not"full term" yet.
I wwnt last thursday and I was almost 2 cm and 70% then went monday because my contractions got bad and was at 2cm and 80% then they died down. I go back tomorrow again. And yes, walking up and down the stairs really helps. Sex starts them up too but then they go away. Im gonna try to start doing squats tomorrow after my appt as long as my dr says its okay. I went tuesday for a weight ultrasound and I'll get babys measurements tomorrow. I wanna make sure shes at least 5 lbs, if not I'll wait 2 weeks :)
@mydaughterskeeper20132015 how long have you been 2 cm and 80%? Is all that stuff actually working for you?
Thanks for the responses! Really appreciate it
@yoblondiexo I've never heard of evening rosehip oil. What is that exactly and what does it do? Just curious.
Im 35 weeks and 1 day and im being induced at 37 weeks too due to high blood pressure! I've been walking, cleaning everything like crazy, walking up and down the stairs, sex daily and warm baths. If you have stairs in your house walk down them sweeping them, that'll help work your uterus muscles and may start contractions. Walking starts mine contractions but they aren't strong enough to do anything. Im 2 cm dilated and 80% thinned out.
Im trying evening rosehip oil daily. One oral and 3 up my vagina. I heard pineapple juice helps too.
