What's the next step

Today I took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive... This will not be my first time being pregnant. 3 months or so ago I found out I was pregnant and lost it around 6 weeks. Now that I have received a positive sign on this test I'm not sure what steps to take since I'm still very early. The App says I'm only 4 weeks and 4 days. But I want to do everything I can not to loose this baby. I know u can't prevent a miscarriage and sometimes it just happens... I just want to make sure I do things in a timely manner. I asked my boyfriend of 7 years what he thinks and he said I should wait for a couple weeks before I do anything that includes applying for Medicaid since we don't have insurance... Anyway overall I'm just not sure what to do.... Please help

Yup like the ladies said start applying now and took those vitamins. Also you are more likely to have a sticky baby the next time after a miscarriage. That is hat happened to me. I miscarried last October and got pregnant in June. Now I am 18 weeks. Try to relax do over do you prself but get some exercise.

You should go apply for medicaid ASAP that way you'll get your first us screening and seeing that tiny heart flickering will relieve some of your worries. And most obstetricians want your first prenatal appointment around 8 weeks, and there can be lengthy time period waiting for medicaid so doing it the sooner, the better. And take some prenatal vitamins. Good luck honey and congratulations!

Apply for medicaid now. It takes time for paperwork to go through and to be accepted. Im not sure if its the same where you live, but I live in tx. They put me on a medicaid program called the star program and you get to pick from a couple diff ones, theyll send u info after being accepted. You can start researching ongyns now that will take medicaid, if they take traditional medicaid they will take the star program.  I know you said youve had a misscarraige but it doesnt mean thatll happen this time and you want things in order and ready to get proper care. You should have your first appointment n one month, itll take about that long to be accepted, find a doctor, and make an appointment. If the unfortunate happens, you just let your insurance know. If you havent already, itd be good to start prenatals. Best wishes!

Take your prenatal vitamins, and give up your bad habits.  :)

(I mean, of course, alcohol, smoking or being in the room when someone smokes, any other drugs, etc.)  And get moderate exercise and lots of sleep.
