Really? How long should it take for the pain to go away? He still screams like hes in pain when we change his diaper, but i realize he could just be cold..
And i asked if we could give him baby tylenol and they said no.. can i and how much can you give a 4 day old?

Realistically he shouldnt have pain anymore. You can always give him baby tylenol. Sometimes swelling can cause them to retain urine. I would just keep an eye on it and make sure he's eating enough. If by the end of the day if it doesn't increase you could call either the pediatrician or usually the hospital give you a number to call with any concerns the first few days.

Sorry I'm late but yes anywhere from 8-10 is normal and for the first few days or so I would have to make my son get up to eat. I always rubbed the side of his cheek to get him to open up and eat.

My son would have more poop then pee. Its normal, and when he gets older he'll have more pee than poop like adults you know? Don't worry, don't wake your son up, if he's hungry he'll get up. Babies domt starve themselves. My son slept 5-6 hours his first & second night home.

I do feed him plenty. I was still,in the hospital when he was doing the coma thing. We tried everything to feed him but it didnt work. He snapped out of,it at home tho. He eats good now, just not peeing much. Im worried it might be the circ or cuz it hurts. Could he be trying not to pee or is it involuntary? Im mostly worried it could be something wrong with the circ.. i will have to try to make his checkup asap.

You have to wake him up at least every 3 hours to feed him. Even if he's sleeping. Tickle his back or feet. It works. A baby has to eat every 3 hours to prevent hypoglycemia and to keep there fluid levels good.

Im not sure exactly.. right after he got it he slept for 24 hours straight pretty much, barely even ate. They said that was normal since he was in pain. Now he still sleeps a LOT, like almost never awake besides for feedings.. he poops more than pees. But i havent really counted i will do that today. How many should he have?
