There is no risks during pregnancy unless you get a fever. Coxsackie virus, also known as hand foot and mouth disease is very common this time of year in daycare/ preschool aged children. The symptoms usually start out with cold like symptoms and fever and then they develop painful blister like bumps most commonly on and around the hands, feet, and mouth, but can also occur on the buttocks and around the knees and elbows... The disease itself is not harmful if your pregnant, however if you get a fever you need to call your Dr because a fever can be harmful.
