Constipation

Hi.....im 10 wks...and when i was like..5-9 weeks...i had constipation..but it wasnt as bad like it was the other day...i was working and i felt a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen..i thought it was gas cuz normally i would always feel like that..so i held it in..big mistake..the pressure got worst and i couldnt hold it in no longer...finally i went to the bathroom..omg it was horrible...i was straining for 10-15 mins..and when it finally passed...i saw drops of blood in the toliet..i thought i was having a m/c but when i wiped my "girl part"..lol...i didnt see any blood...so when i flushed...i saw a string of blood around a piece of stool...i was sore for a couple of hours...has anybody else experienced this??

I notice what prevents me from getting constipated is drinking at least one glass of milk a day. I hate to admit but I could do a BM probably two to three times a day if I drink more milk then that!!

Try adding fruits to your diet. I take an iron pill for anemia. It's can cause constipation. I started to eat more fruits and i noticed a huge difference. I don't really have major problems with constipation anymore. Start with the ones u like then try some new ones. Good luck.

I was eating alot of beans and cereal in the begining..when i didnt have a appetite..now..im eating everything...and now..i have a bm every other day...or every other 2-3 days...

No not the blood part. I am also 10 w and constipated. Ive been trying to eat food with lots of fiber. It seems to help. I also drink coffee in the morning, also another reason i am able to go.
