Finally I'm 24 weeks today. I have been so paranoid, thinking what if I have a premature baby and it won't survive? I have been praying to atleast reach 24w. I have no sign of any premature labor but it just scares me. I'm a ftm. How bout you girls?

For me it was 26 weeks. Each week after that I started to relax more and more. Now I'm 39+3 so I'm in the clear but I'm still really on edge. Just can't wait to have my baby safely here.

After 24wks survival chances are very good well they say 50/50.. I know its something which scares everyone off.. I m 28wks +4 days i look on positive side that atleast if i giv birth now doctors wont ignore him n thy ll try there level best to save his life... My cousin gave birth at 28wks last month n her lil girl is doing so well... She is tiny but she is alive and has alot of hope to survive...

Being paranoid is a normal part of being pregnant, and it won't go away once baby is born! My daughter is 6 and I'm still paranoid all the time. I'm 32+2 and still worry about preterm labor. Just try to relax (not easy, I know). Now that you are over 24 weeks you can start breathing a little easier! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy! :)

Im a ftm an In the begining i was scared but after the first few months i havent thought about it much,im 7months now an enjoying how smooth my pregnancys been going.cant dwell on the what if's..its totally out of my control.

i was the same. am 35 weeks now but when i was 24 weeks i kept having dreams about prem babies and it felt like everywhere i went i would hear about it :/ it freaked me out.

I am 28 weeks also ftm n I still worry. Nothing is 100% bt atleast its sum confort.

I am counting down the days til I get to at least 23...4 more weeks for me! Congrats :) I'm sure you are going to have a beautiful healthy baby, but at least you can breathe easy now!
