not sure what to do

im 17 and found out im pregnant not to long ago. im scared about this whole this. im just so confused and i feel alone. really need some advice

Im 17 years old to & im pregnant with my first , im also 34 weeks along. I know its very hard & scary to deal with especially being so close to finishing school. Its harder to bear if ykyr parents are really strict. I broke the news to my mom at 3mnths knowing she would take it lighter than my dad who i was so scared& nervous to tell since he only has 4 girls who all got pregnant before 18 & thought id be the one to avoid every one else's mistake. I waited till i was 6 months to tell him, but my advice to you is the sooner yoy tell them the betterbecause being young & your first time you dont know what to expect & its alot of pressure on you so your gonna need their support & blessings once they reacted to the news. Its hard im not gonna lie, its not the pregnancy thats hard its all your emotions, hormones & moodswings that really take a toll on you especially being young. i had my first bon a boy at 17 and it is scary at first but like the others said it does get better. i would never change it for the world at all because once i saw his face i just fell in love with him! now im 20 years old and having my 4th pregnancy but this will be my 3rd living child. the reason i say that is because i had a miscarriage and i knew it was going to happen and it did. but being a mom can be chalenge some times ecspecily if your going to be a single mother but like i said it will be all worth it at the end. im currently 11w2or3d. there are some groups for young mothers like in washington where i live they call it teen moms group and it where you bring your child or children with you and there would be free child care when you talk to the group. i loved it when i was going. but i would recomend it to any young moms out there to join a teen mom group and try asking planned parent hood they might also know where there is one around where you live too.

how far along are you? there are tons of options and support groups out there planned parenthood your dr can refer you to local support groups for young moms
