Why do they ask...

about pain on your right side when you're pregnant? I got asked for the first time I think at my last appointment, and I told the dr I have had pain, but she just moved on to the next question...

Ok...I wondered about that since she asked it. I'm not having any other pain, it's more like I pulled my ligament I guess that's what it'd be anyways...I don't remember being asked with Elijah.

and I think the reason she just moved on was because if you were having pain indicating either gallstones or appendicitis you wouldn't have simply said "I have been" you would've been like "YES it's been AGONIZING and it just keeps COMING" or you would've been in the ER...know what I mean? so I think she assumes that just mild pain is not related to either of those. I know that rib pain can indicate preeclampsia but right-side pain I believe is used to determine the things I mentioned.

I think it has to do with gallstones and apendicitis..both of which are startlingly common during pregnancy.
