Wic question help please

Do any of you ladies know what I will be needing to apply for wic? I'm a minor but I'm legally married; will my husband have to take something since I don't work but he does? TIA ladies

They asked me for id,medicaid card,and proof of pregnancy

It depends on your wic building, even thpugh i had the medicaid card the lady insisted i bring proof of income, ID (this one you need for sure), and proof of address.
WIC helps with many things, obviously the thing that everyone goes for is free food. Lol you get x amount of stuff in a check monthly depending on your situation & they help with formula if you decide not to breastfeed. They have different programs available, a lactation consultent etc. Your dr can give you brochures or you can check out the website for the full extent.

No not at all! That's the great thing about it!! You can make x amount of money and qualify. It's mostly to get your family into a healthy lifestyle. Because with wic your very limited on what you can get (no junk!) And it's very specific! I always take my little pamphlet when I go shopping the pictures help lol!!

They just asked me for a photo ID, two of my boyfriend's paystubs, & proof of address. (:

When I went they needed a pay stub and your ID. I do not work because I go to school full time so they said just bring my husband's last pay stub.... that's all I needed anyways. Hope this helps! (Now wic is not based on your income or poverty levels it's available for all families so don't worry about if your husband makes too much or too little)

I.d, proof of income or ur Medicaid card will work, and something with ur address on it. That's all I need when I went
