Breastfed babies don't get gas and reflux as bad as bottle babies (whether it's breast milk or formula, the bottle makes them gassier). But I would still try burping them when they pop off the boob.
The baby will stop when they are done. Always burp the baby, always.

You let them feed until they decide theyve finished snd dont generally need to burp them unless they look like they need it eg tense or red in the face
