Ruptured Ovarian Cyst, Area on Kidney, low Vitamin D and pregnant

So I have been experiencing some severe fatigue for the last 6 months now. I was diagnosed with mono and was told that it is what is causing my fatigue. So my general physician put me on steroids, antibiotics and antivirals which helped short term but didn't fix the problem. I also had an ultrasound of my spleen and kidney, bloodwork and chest xrays done. Xray = good, bloodwork still showed the recent infection of mono, ultrasound showed an area on my kidney. I am scheduled for another ultrasound in 8 weeks to check on the area on my kidney. During the tests I got pregnant. My OBGYN did bloodwork for fatigue and found that I have low Vitamin D levels (12) so she prescribed a 50k unit weekly of Vit. D supplement. This is starting to help but I had an ultrasound at 8 wks since I haven't had a mp since my last time I was pregnant ~ 2 yrs ago. In the ultrasound they found that I had a cyst on my ovary which had ruptured. I am also haveing some discoloring of my hands, feet and knees (orange color which started before my pregnancy). So my OB is doing bloodwork on my liver enzymes to see if there is a problem there. Other symptoms are pain in my abdomen, like a fullness and pains near my stomach and ribs. Also, I get so tired it is sometimes hard to breath and my heart seems to flip or flutter. On top of that I am 8 wks pregnant which to be honest other than the expected morning sickness everything is going well with that part. So there are so much that seems wrong but I am not sure what is going on with me and to be honest I am so frustrated that I have been going through this for 6 months now and I am starting to wear down. I am depressed and just exhausted. Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on with me?

Thanks for the congrats and support. I am hopeful that all is well. I did get my liver enzyme levels back and they are elevated. So I have to go back and get an upper right quadrant sonogram to see if maybe it is my gallbladder. I also have a follow up with my primary to see if we can't get it figured out. So I will cross my fingers.

It really sounds like a combination of mono, the pain from the cyst rupturing and your Vitamin D + morning sickness all combined into one. The orange coloring could be from either your kidneys or from your Vitamin D shots. Most women are normally fatigued in the first trimester and plus your mono can make it even worse. Sounds like your doctor is doing the best they can to fix what is wrong with you. I hope that everything turns out well you and you start feeling better soon! Congrats on the new pregnancy too!
