Worst doctor's appointment vent. :/

So I went to my ob check up today.. they have changed my appointment 3 times in the past week, including today, a few hours before my appointment was supposed to be, they changed the time AGAIN. So I got there late. My bf/bd went back with me. The nurse said my weight out loud. I am extremely overweight and don't tell ANYONE my weight. It's very personal to me. I was so embarrassed... Then 2 male doctors came in. I have never had a male doctor before, so I felt uncomfortable asking questions. I have had a different doctor everytime I go in since my first appointment. I'm now 21+1. I saw 5 different doctors/nurses today. Then the male doctor said something about how my last doctor (who was extremely rude) noted that she wanted me to have a monthly ultrasound. She never told me that. When i asked why, he basically told me its because I'm heavier. Oh ok. Well that's good to know. Embarrassed again.. Then the nurse said "have you seen Dr.bradley yet? It's a woman." I said "no, I've only seen male doctors so far today" and she said "ok, I'm pretty sure she wanted to see you so ill go get her real quick." Ok. So doctor #6. We waited for 45, as we reached the hour mark I asked my bf if we should just leave or what. Then the nurse comes in looking at us all confused. She said "um..I think you're all set.." I was like "...Oook, I thought one more person wanted to see me?" And she goes "yeah, I guess not. You can check out." So we waited all that time for nothing. Then the nurse threw out there that they never got my 24 hour urine sample that I turned in almost 2 weeks ago. So yeah. Then to top it all off? When I checked out and left the lobby, I realized on my paper that not only is my Medicaid inactive, but they scheduled me next month with the doctor from last month that I hate because she's rude!! And I'm so far along I don't think I can switch hospitals now! Am I overreacting or are these people unprofessional???

I had a very similar experience and switched right away. Then had another problem at the second clinic. I am now on my third clinic which is strictly Obgyn and I couldn't happier. I would change right away if u don't feel comfortable, I mean can u imagine if that rude doctor gets to deliver your baby??

That's horrible. Sweetie you have EVERY right to be highly pi$$ed off. You're pregnant and should be one of their happiest times of your life not a stressful time waiting for doctors to pull their heads out of their butts.
I would switch. As far as they medicad call first thing Monday and talk to the worker onthecase. Sad to say anything involving the state or government is always a hurry up and wait thing but since you are pregnant there shouldn't be any hold up or pending. I called mine 5 times a day( no joke) with my last pregnancy to pester them so they passed it lol.
Another thing with your weight. That's not right and I hate when they do that. Try to ignore that. Another thing.g you can call them Dr and have them put it in your file to keep stuff like that between Dr and you.not who ever is there with you.
Sorry this is long but I had to get it out to ya.

I had it set up to switch drs at 41+1. Basically I found a Dr willing to induce me that day because my doctor literally forgot how far along I was. Fortunately my Dr got her act together after the new Dr called for my chart. It's never too late to change. I'm so sorry you were treated that way, but I wouldn't continue to put up with it.
