fetal heart rate

Anybody have a fast fetal heart rate and still have a boy?  Or a slow heart rate and have a girl? I've heard the wives tale about fast meaning girl and slow meaning boy and am just curious how true it is. My fetal heart rate was 175 bpm today. Super fast!!  & We're hoping for a boy.

Mine started at 186 , now its 160 & its a boy ! I think it depends on how far along you are

My boy's heart rate was 143 at my 36 weeks check up. My daughter's heart rate sat at around 150-160, so it was true for me.

At the beginning my sons heart rate was always 165, now I'm 32+3 and his heart rate is in the 140's and my midwife said it will continue to get a little lower before delivery. She said the low means boy and high means girl was true for later in pregnancy :)

My first pregnancy the heart rate was always between 135-141.. it was a boy.. and my second pregnancy the heart rate was 170's then mellowed out later on in my pregnancy.. also a boy.

Mine started at 165 and turned out to be a boy. His heart rate has gotten lower and lower each time they check.

Its jus superstition.. im having a boy early on in my pregnancy it was 160's now he is always between 140-145 ... jus really depends if he or she has been moving alot or jus chillin

In early pregnancy mine was in the 160s and I'm having a boy :)

All three of my babies have been backwards, my oldest was 170-180 and a boy, second was 140-150 and a girl, and this baby is 160-170 and a boy.

Mine was 180 at 12 weeks im 25 weeks now and it was 150  and its a boy...I think its faster when the baby is smaller

My son was always 160 and I'm pregnant with a girl (26wks) and she is always in the low 140's.

Yeah doctor said it was faster than average but still good! I was a little worried it was so fast but he said it's fine. Sounds like it's not always true! That gives my hubby hope for a boy lol.

yes ususally they say ttho the higher it is is a GIRL and the lower it is its a boy....mine was always in hre 140s and 150s and im having a boy....175 seems high...i think your having a girl but i duno that seems very high to me they say anywhere between 110 to 160 is a good range

Mine has always been really high. And we were excited cause we just knew it was a girl. But... its a boy! Good luck girl!
