You're good after the first trimester, just make sure you're in a well ventilated area. Make sure you use ammonia free and stuff. Both of my hairstylist friends have said it's okay. And my friends colored her hair using box dye while pregnant and everything was okay.

I have dyed my hair twice threw my pregnancy and no problems. The chemicals are not as bad as they smell. If it helps ease your mind you could have someone dye your hair for you while you cover your face to not have much exposure to the smell.

Dying your hair is perfectly fine during pregnancy. I even checked with my doctor. It used to be thought that chemicals were absorbed through your scalp and would be passed to the baby, but it is generally agreed that this is false (if it wasn't, you would gr8 sick every time you dyed your hair) and therefore there is no danger in dying your hair. Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area and you're good to go (:
