I had a c-section with my first and it was fine. I'll be having another one and I'm not nervous about it at all.  It's kind of nice knowing exactly what's going to happen when you to in.

I had a c-section because my son was too big. It was totally fine. My Dr said I can try VBAC this time but she's not optimistic. I'm opting for another c-section. It's really nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't risk it either, it can be dangerous for the baby.

It can also be very dangerous to try to turn the baby (painful too) at this stage in the game, I really wouldn't risk it, I know there are positions and such that encourage the baby to turn, but it's not guarenteed

You have to find a hospital willing to do a vaginal birth after c-section. It's possible, I'm actually thinking about it. Mine was an emergency c-section, I was 8cms dilated when they lost his H/B, I was rushed into the OR. My recovery was very fast, probably a week and half, and I was feeling good, couldn't lift heavy things still, but almost feeling 100%, all I heard were horror stories too, so I like to show people they're NOT all bad, they are scary, and they do hurt (but so does natural birth) but you'll get through it, and you'll be wanting another one soon enough! ;)

I had a c-section with my daughter and everything went great. I was only in minor pain afterwards for about 2 hours and I healed in about 1 week. Just like previous poster said if you do what they tell you and take it slowly you should be ok. I am having another one this time around so if you have to have one you shall be fine. :-)

I have had 3 csections and am having the 4th in nov. I have had no problems with any of them. The stay at the hospital is longer other than that no complaints

I had a c section for the exact same reason. My son was born at 5:44pm on thurs by 2pm on Fri I was up and walking around.  I got to go home Saturday morning! Of course you're going to be tender but I WANT another c section it went that well. And, I will be having one in 3 weeks! If you have any questions, you can inbox me!

My sister had 3. The first was emergency as her sons heart rate kept dropping every time she pushed... the nurse didnt want to call the dr and wanted to deliver the baby on her own (stupid nurse) so finally when he got there he was irate.. but took 1 look at what was going on and took her straight in for c-section... Her second 2 were scheduled due to her having the first baby c-section. But she did fine with all of hers. Everyone is different and everyone is going to tell you their horror stories but when your baby is breech there isnt much you can do really. Some babies just decide thats how they want to be born. Talk to your dr about it though and let them know you are concerned. But c-sections are done quite often and I think there are many more good stories of them then horror stories. Just do what they tell you to do after though and dont try and get back to your regular routine until your dr says. That can cause lots of problems.
