abnormal pap smear?

I had an abnormal pap back in February and ended up having cervical dysplasia. ..and had the leep surgery to remove abnormal cells. I just had another pap last week (11 weeks pregnant) and they just called and told me i had another abnormal pap and have to have another colposcopy...now I'm pretty upset because i just had to go through that nightmare and this time there's a baby. Anybody else have anything similar?

That's what I'm hoping I've read that even if it is something they wouldn't treat it till after birth and that they won't do a biopsy at all during pregnancy which I'm glad its just like...enough is enough with the cervical problems ya know

I have never had an abnormal papsmear. I was talking with my midwife a few weeks ago wanting her to do another papsmear on me since she checked me for everything else except a pap. She said we already had you pap done last year and they require a pap to be done every two years. And she further explained that even if I got one done it would come back as abnormal because pregnant women's papsmear show up as such. All the chemicals we have going on. So maybe that's why you had another abnormal papsmear.
