Sorry, to make It more clear, I eat sandwiches not cooked all the time. In fact, today I ate a bagel sandwich with honey ham, cheese, and cream cheese lol It was sooo good!

It's because of Listeria. Your allowed to have lunch meat If you cook It first to where It's heated and sizzled. But honestly, I eat sandwiches all the time and I'm perfectly fine and so It Is my baby.

The reason they say its bad, is due to a bacteria that grows on it called listeria. Its not all that common, however it is out here. Most places they are worried about is actual fast food, restaurant places as you don't know how long it sits out for. However Sandwiches from your house or even Subway,  just have the toast it, or microwave your meat and then make a sandwich at home. I eat a sandwich almost two three times a week, and never do anything like heating it up, etc. However I do eat at Subway at least once a month if not more, and i have them toast it. I refuse to eat it raw.
