Had my baby!! Orange juice and whole milk mixture
So last night I updated my post about being on the second night of drinking the orange juice and milk mixture. Anyway, I woke up at 12am with contractions 1-2 minutes apart. Ended up calling an ambulance and going into l&d at 1am. Was admitted at a 4. That same day I had had a docs appointment where she told me I was only half a centimeter. In forty minutes of being admitted I went from a 4 to an 8.

Last night i had my first drink and I can sure say it really helped me.
I had an app last monday, zero cm and 50% effaced. Today I hade one more app and I am already 1cm and 80% effaced.
I had cramps, contractions, back pain, pelvic pain and it have been really hard to me to walk.
I am trying tonight again. I drank and kept active for at least 2:30hrs and did some nipple stimulation.

Just had my second glass! I'm 39 weeks and 1 day! Did you guys incorporate anything else like nipple stimulation or squats or anything???!!?
Been doing it for three days now and just had my last cup of milk and Oj so really hope something happens in the next 24 hours x
Today is day 2 when I started my cervix was long,hard,and closed but after day one I began getting soft and dilated to a one cm my next appointment is on Monday hopefully I go into labor before that or get admitted on Monday

@Tip, no. Sunny D is not real juice. It has to be real orange juice. Buy something that says 100% juice.
@Gorjess, the second night which was the night I went into labor, I drank the juice and my plug came out. It could have been from my appointment though from when my doctor checked me.
@Fuzzball, not really sure I can give you any advice. I would say wait it out a little longer until you're feeling well enough. Puking alone might send you into labor if you're not careful. Stay hydrated.
@Emzwx, my due date is today, (Friday) so I was 39+5. Personally I would wait as long as you could. The farther along you are the more of a chance your body has of preparing itself naturally. Its true that if your body isn't ready, you won't go into labor.
@Lilred, yes. Whole milk and 100% orange juice. Half a cup of whole milk, half a cup of orange juice. Mix it together in the same cup and drink it. Don't drink it separately. You're supposed to drink it once a day for three days.

Congratulations on your baby I hope it works for me when I'm farther up seems to be a huge success for you I'm not far from my Due date and best of luck to the lady's thats trying it
It's half a cup of each once a day for 3 days. It can take up to 3 days to work. But I heard it's best mixed. OB'S have said it works because of the pH levels
When do you recommend to do it? Like how many weeks on should you try this as I read someone tried it and had their baby girl at 36+3... Huge congratulations :)! So excited reading all your stories as I'm glad it can work x
I'm 38w and a few days. Went to the doctor yesterday and I'm 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. I tried this a few days ago but couldn't continue because I ended up puking every time I ate or drank anything. Got a prescription for nausea though so going to try again. Been having back and stomach pains and pressure in my vagina. Had slight bloody discharge yesterday after my appointment. Already lost my mucus plug. Hoping my baby girl Katie comes soon. Any suggestions?
I'll be 39 weeks Monday, dunno how effaced....I'm in the UK so they do things a bit different here. Well I actually lost my mucus plug this morning but had nothing since.....dunno if that's down to the milk and Oj or not. Really hoping she'll be here in the next day or two though x
