38wks 4days & no baby...

I'm bout to be 39wks & there is no sign of this baby coming...I have tried walking, pineapple, sex, spicy food & nothing. Thursday I have an app & if I'm not dilated, my doctor will induce me on the 3rd of June. I'm scared to be induced. Any advice of how to avoid being induced?

Being induced isn't bad, I was with my first one, honestly they soften tge cervix, then start the pitocin. My labor was only 6 and a half hours of hard hard labor.

Is there any medical reason why she would want to induce you so early?  For most people there is no reason to not allow baby to go at least a week to 2 weeks past your due date.  Gestation times vary.  If there isn't a good reason I would seriously consider having a serious talk about it with your doctor.  And not being dialated is not a good reason, many womam go into labor without having dialated before hand.  I wasnt even a centimeter when i went into labor with my third. Other then that just keep doing what your doing lots of moving around, pineapple (make sure its fresh, canned doesn't work), rasberry leaf tea is good too, and hope for the best, theres really not much you can do until there ready, but thise things might push you along a bit!

Ask for a membrane sweep! With my second he seemed like he would never arrive but had a sweep and he was here 48hrs later xo

I'm due today and if I'm ten days late my doctor will induce me, I'm nervous too, bumping up for more stories :)

I'm going to get a pedi right now, and have them get my pressure points, so far I ate pineapple and had sex, ill let ya know if this works !

im 38 weeks too. Ive been walking, having sex and taking primrose oil. I was hoping this kid would come this weekend, doesn't feel like anything is happening tho...oh well just not time yet!

I got my toes done the other day and I thought it would be sok relaxibg but it wasnt bc it was soo hot outside and my feet were swollenn..im walking and having sex but thats about it im just letting him come when he wants to even though im so uncomfy
