are people serious?

I have hit a serious point of frustration. At 37w1d I have gained 45 lbs and I am miserable. Baby is very low so my back is killing me and I have serious pelvic pressure and I am always in pain. The past few days people in public just feel the need to tell me how miserable I look. One lady went on and on yesterday about how the doctor was wrong and I was having twins and one was just laying on top of the other and that's why they can't see it. I hate how people just feel the need to tell me I look as awful and huge as I feel.

I always got the twins comment, I'm 4'11 and DH is 6'1, so we made a large baby for my little self to carry, it was the most annoying thing, ever. Everyone always told me it was twins, and they honestly thought (as rare as it is) for one twin to hide the entire time. Drove me up the wall!!! Or they'd stare as if they'd never seen a pregnant woman before! I am nervous about getting towards the end this time because people are so rude! Pretty soon it will be over and you'll be holding your ONE baby, and looking and feeling back to normal!

Yep! People can be rude. I am 33 wks. Only actually gained 5 lbs. Even though i look visibly pregnant. I was a little concerned about low weight gain. Then i have rude people saying things like "its about time for u to have that baby before u pop". What do people expect when u are carrying another person!

I totally get the same thing!! I showed very fast with this baby m got the twins comment right away! Then I just got huge really quick, I'm carrying him all out front, looks like I swallowed a giant beach ball..and people love to tell me how huge I am!! Hello, I ALREADY KNOW!!!!  :-) and my fav this pregnancy is, I was shopping @ walmart n somelady come around the corner m burst out.." ur pregnant!" I almost looked behind me thinking this lady can't honestly think I don't know I'm pregnant!!!!!! She just kept staring at me in wonder like she had never seen a pregnant belly b4!! Very weird!! People for some reason just get dumb when they talk to pregnant women!! The worst 4 me are the ones who know more abt ur pregnant self than you do!!! I have a few people close to me who are always telling me how I'm feeling!! Lol..n the one has never even been pregnant herself! How can she even guess what I may be feeling!!! Ha**

Wow I had no idea ppl could be so rude! My issue is that some ppl don't realize I'm pregnant. Yes I was quite over weight b4, but I am 32+5 and have a noticable round tummy and waddle. I'm like, what do you ppl think is in this big belly I'm covering with maternity shirts??

Don't feel bad. My mom is always asking me if I'm sure I'm not having twins and that maybe the doctor missed one. Seriously, why would I hide it from her?  If I'm having twins then I'd be proud, but I'm not, I'm just huge. Oh, btw, I'm 37w. The other day I was walking at the park and some "big" lady tells me, "Oh my god, you're ready to pop". I just thought to myself, "You're ready to pop!!" Seriously, she looked like she was having triplets and yet, she's over here critisizing me. People just need to learn how to stay shut!!

Im 38 weeks tomorrow and I know exactly how you feel. I get the twin thing ALL the time too. I have only gained 13 pds but was overweight to start with. I have strangers tell me I should be in bed instead of out at the store because I look like I am in pain. Hello idiots I am in pain but seriously I still have to live life. I had a lady at tje grocery store tell me that since my stomach is so huge my skin is never gonna go back to what it was even with sit ups...I couldnt believe she was sayong that. I already feel horrible thanka for making it worse! Hang it there though...it will end..
