allergic?

I'm 15w 4d and I LOVE fruit. I got some watermelon last night and my throat and mouth started to itch and burn really bad and then I started to get chest pain. Is that an allergic reaction? I've never had one so I don't know how to spot one. Plz help.

Call your dr and ask about oral allergy syndrome. It's when you react to raw fruits and/or veggies.

Those are signs of anyphilactic shock.  50 mg of benadryl will stop and reverse the allergic reaction.  Go to the Dr to get an epipen

Thank u. I notice I get that reaction with all fruit tho. With strawberries and grapes. The watermelon was the first time I had the chest pain.

Yeah definitely avoid eating that. Sounds like an allergic reaction.

Tell your Dr. And make sure you keep benadryl in the house at all times.

Benadryl can help calm certain reactions if you don't have anything else on hand and it's safe for baby

Sounds like it...I'd avoid it at least for the pregnancy. Not sure if they can or will do allergy testing while pregnant.
