One or More?
This is my second pregnancy and I'm 13 weeks today. My husband and most of my friends think I am going t have twins (they run in my family and my husbands)... I have an appt on the 27th. What do you think?
I would say its possible but who knows you could just be popping early and everything can even out. thats what happened to me with my last one. now this time I feel big but somedays my belly doesnt look so big and some days it does...I had someone tell me today that I look big...But I can still wear regular clothes just one size up than normal.

I'm not sure about my husbands family but I know his dad was a twin, on my mothers side of the family there have been twins in every generation, my fathers side of the family they have been everyother generation with my father starting out a twin an being the only one to make it. There are a lot of twins in my family. :)
From what ive read up if your father was a twin or your mothers father than yes you have a chance if your husband was a twin and you two have a daughter shes more likely to have twins..but then theres the occasional spontaneous ovulation which usually result in fraternal twins but that just depends on your body
I definitely grew faster than normal being a 4'11" and 96lbs girl myself I looked 4monthes when I was only two months with my twins.
I didn't get any symptoms since I'm lucky and usually dont the only thing was that once I got fatter I couldn't stand up very long without feeling tired or almost blacking out.

At 12 weeks i looked like that! Before i hit 20 weeks i looked 6 months! They say after the first pregnancy you show quicker because everything is already stretched out. I thought i was having twins, but it was only 1 (: ive evened out since and now my belly looks like its shrinking lol!
I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks the tech said I had much more water than I should. She had a hard time finding baby. I have another u/s on the 27 an she said to remind her about the water because she wants to check some stuff. I have a pic of me at 11 weeks on my profile so you can she how much has changed in just 2 weeks.
I would LOVE to carry twins I love being pregnant and have even thought about being a surrogate mother. :)
You'd be surprised at how big you look in the beginning with your 2nd pregnancy, I looked HUGE in the beginning with this pregnancy, and have actually evened out a lot now at 22w, have you had an U/S yet? Or heard a H/B?
I give it to u woman who can carry twins!!! I think I would die!!! My husband wants them so bad but im def happy wit one baby at a time!! My little brother who is 17 just found out his gf is 7 weeks pregnant with twins and she ia only 15!!! Not that im judging.. I had my first at 15 but these kids are so immature. Anyways... we as woman are pretty amazing with carrying a child... but those of u who carry twins or multiples are very strong woman! Id go nuts lol

Lol, I'm not looking for an answer I'm looking for some thoughts. I think twins would be amazing but I'm very much okay with one beautiful healthy baby. :)
Lol - I know how you feel hun. This is my 4th successful pregnancy and twins run in my family and my husbands. He's hoping for twins because this will be my last pregnancy lol. I just hope I get another girl :) But this pregnancy is unlike my others, it has me completely baffled!
I'm really not sure, I think it's crazy how big I am already. I started out with an almost flat tummy and have lost over 5 lbs. So far this pregnancy is NOTHING like with my son, I have so many symptoms an all kinds of crazy hormones going on.
