heartbeat and gender

wondering if anyone found truth in high heartbeat girl.. i want a boy but all signs point to girl hb of 160 chinese calender says girl too.

i heard about the heart rate thing too and i am 9 weeks and my babys hr was 174bpm and the chinesse thingy says a girl it was wrong for me the last time and i hope it is wrong this time lol,i want A BOY i have a girl and im done after this so lets keep our fingers crossed lol

I don't trust my intuition anymore haha. My first pregnancy I just KNEW she was a girl and than this pregnancy I was sure it was a boy and it ended up being a girl. I even had dreams that it was a boy... but as I got closer to the ultrasound I started having dreams where they said "its a girl"... I think my body was preparing myself so that I wouldn't cry when I found out.

Both my boys had heartrates anywheres btw 140-180! So, I would say not true! The chinese calendar was right both times though! Lol

My intuition also says girl.. lol i have two girls now and am not planning on anymore kids sooo i'm hoping i'm wrong.. i did have one dream that it was a boy.. then another dream that someone handed me a baby boy and i said no its a girl lol.

Both are old wives tales. Heartbeat fluctuate based on what the baby is doing. For instance if the baby is moving around and awake the heart rate tends to be a little higher whereas if it is sleeping or lounging around its a little lower. I have a doppler and listen to my daughters heart rate every once in a while and it is always all over the place. As for the chinese calender. Both pregnancies it said boy and it was wrong both times. There are people that swear on it but realistically its just something fun to do. Congrats on your pregnancy I hope you get the boy you want! :)
