ideas needed to announce preg

so my bf and i decided to announce my preg to my family on st patricks day...by then i will be 12 weeks and so far things have been progressing nice (very thankful for that)...so now its time to tell the family

i am currently living in NC and my family is in PA...im trying to think of a creative way to tell my family about my preg

does anybody have any suggestions?  I'm thinking something with a shamrock and u/s pic??? but i dont know...i just want to make it creative and either mail it or email it

The first thing that came to my mind was "Kiss me I'm Pregnant!" instead of "Kiss me I'm Irish" but if there's distance I'm not sure how you'll work that out!!

We live far away from family as well so we made a christmas card that was a collage of pictures of us and then in the middle was a picture from our ultrasound. It took a while for them to catch on because they didn't notice it with all the other pictures around.

Wrap a leprechaun in a blanket and take a picture, LOL.  Ok, that is WAAAY out there, even for St. Patrick's Day.  You could send them a card and say "Happy St. Baby's Day" and see if they catch on.

You could put something on a card with a rainbow and a pot of gold.  Then you could write something like - even better than a pot of gold is a little baby to hold.  Then put a picture of the ultrasound at the end of the rainbow.  Or you could put a shamrock and put something like - along with Irish green there will be baby blue or pink to be seen.

You could make a t-shirt that says, "Coming in ____ 2010!" right where your womb is settled. Take pictures of yourself in the shirt to email/mail! If you're due in October you could do something related to pumpkins and your belly. I'm so tired and it is late so I'm probably not making much sense now!

You could do a slide show if you email it to them. You could start out with a picture of the positive test, then a picture of the two of you with shocked or excited faces. Then the ultrasound picture. And then the due date.

I'm a photographer and have made these for clients before -  

Take a photo of yourself or get someone to take the photo of you with your tummy out and you pointing at it(tummy) with an exciting face... then get loads of cards printed with your image and Get a graphic designer to do some touch ups and put somewhere on the card
" Can you guess what's in here" - you'll be pointing at your tummy and it's just overall cute.
