am i too early to find out sex of baby

I am 18 weeks 1 day. Friday I go for my ultrasound I will be 18.4 weeks I know it all depends on how the baby is sitting but I just want to make sure I'm not going to early.

U can tell baby gender as soon as 14wks depending on babys position... But mostly doctor prefer to do it after 16 wks as its much easier to give co firmed gender... So u r going on right time... In uk they only perform two u/s one between 12-14 wks n one on 20wks... N thy tell gender on 20 wks.. :-)

I was roughly 19 weeks when I went. She didn't corporate so I didn't find out...I had to get another u/s b/c they saw something so I found out later on that week
