I got strep w/ my first pregnancy when I was about 8 weeks along. My doctor was able to give me an antibiotic and my baby was perfectly healthy. You can take Tylenol for the fever and try very hard to drink plenty of liquids. And I would let your doctor know about the leakage. I hope you feel better soon. And it is really important to keep the fever down and stay as hydrated as possible. I know it's hard when your throat hurts but it is really important.
I would worry about the water leakage before the fever. I had a 103.5 a couple of weeks ago (I'm 16w) probably because dd had strep. DH called my Dr and he gave me antibiotics. I still had a high fever for over 24hrs. At my next visit I asked him and he said he wouldn't like to see a fever that high for several days. Keep yourself hydrated!
I would get the water leaking checked out!
Being sick won't harm your baby, but you need to get your body temp down. I don't know what you can take, if anything, for the flu or strep. Ask your doc. I know you can do cough drops.
Baby should be fine if you can get your body temp down. You also need to drink a lot of water or you can get dehydrated and have to go to the ER. Just take frequent sips. If you keep throwing that up, then take a few sips, wait an hour, take some more sips, wait 45 minutes... Just keep decreasing the amount of time until you stop puking.
I would contact your doctor asap. It is better safe than sorry. Good luck and keep me posted
im only 6 weeks pregnant...and today i had a lil bit of water leaking out of me
Where are you in your pregnancy?
