anterior placenta

I went for my 20 week scan and the tech said I have an anterior placenta but I felt my baby move 2 weeks ago. This week my baby movements are stronger. Should I be worried about the position of the placenta?

I have anterior placenta too. I felt my baby kicking on the 23rd week. And now I'm 29 weeks and I don't feel much of the movements unlike others as she is head down now and all I can feel is her hiccups several times a day  and few kicks on both sides when I'm sleeping on my sides. I was just worried too.

Dianaexoh...I Google it and people said they go on bed rest and delivery early. So I was panicking.

I also have an anterior placenta this time and started feeling baby daily at 19+2, but at 21+4 it's still kind of faint. Anterior placenta won't cause any harm, just acts as a cushion for a while.

Anterior placenta's are fine as long as they are not low down. This pregnancy I have an anterior placenta too. With my first I felt flutters around 14 weeks. This one I didn't feel anything until 17 weeks. What you are feeling is normal from what you have explained :)
