the longer you breastfeed the longer it will take for your cycle to return..your body knows that you are still caring for one baby so it will not produce eggs although you may experience some spotting.once you stop breastfeeding your cycle should be normal after a few months.good luck
Thanks for your advice :-) it took me 18 months to get pregnant with my baby girl and I really don't want it to take that long this time. I know it will happen when it happens but its worried me that my periods havent started but I no its normal so ill just have 2 keep my fingers crossed. Thanks
A few weeks later not years :)
I got pregnant with my son when my daughter was 11 months, I hadnt had a period, I actually didnt realize I was pregnant at first because I had some spotting for a few days, which was probably implantation bleeding, and just thought it was my period coming back. I realized it when I started getting morning sickness a few years later. With my third, and this one, I got my period back for a few months before getting pregnant again. My son was 29 months when I got pregnant again, my third baby was 30 months when i got pregnant with my 4th. I never used birth control between any of them.
