I'm having trouble finding a name for my baby boy and was wondering wa ideas everyone had

sorta insulted by the comments that less common names are somehow inferior....

but, whatever...I'll chalk it up to pregnancy hormones.

My daughter's name is Kahlan (kay-linn) and my son's name is Grey, so obviously I like things a little different...

we were considering for our son: Rylan, Ronan, and Liam.

My name is Ivy...it wasn't very common when I was born...did it turn me into a freak? absolutely not...so..just remember...people choose names that mean something to them. names that sound good, names that fit their baby....it's not bad if it's a name you consider "weird"...you don't have to name your child that!

Agreed about the "normal" thing.  What the heck IS "normal" anyway?!  To each their own!! While I prefer nice, classic names and names that don't have "weird" spellings or "made up" etc, you can't really tell someone "Please name him something NORMAL!"  :)

Our first son was SUPER easy to pick a name for because it was my grand dad's name.  We chose Leo and put it together with my maiden name as his middle name.  This time around, though, we're having a HARD time picking another boy's name!!  I had about 10 girl names picked out that we LOVED and could have named a baby girl in a heart beat.  So, of course this one is a boy, right? :)

We're thinking Rex or Duke or Miles for this one.  Rex is our top choice.  And his daddy's name as his middle name.

It took a long time to figure out what we wanted to name our son. I'm 34w4d and I'm happy to say that we agreed on naming him Brody Dennis...

The names we went over were:

But luckily, when we came across Brody, we just knew it was it. I don't even remember how we came across it cause it was weeks and weeks ago. Ever since then, can't picture him as anything other than Brody :) We've been calling him our BroMan :)

Everybodys definition of whats normal or unique varies due to personal opionion.... Baby names are the Hardest lol but you will find something you like.... Here are some we are thinking of

Every individual's definition of "normal" is unique.

My two sons' names are Trevor James and Greydon Rhys (pronounced Reese; it's the Welsh spelling). We like names that are uncommon but don't sound too weird or are spelled in a way that's difficult to pronounce when you see it printed.

We are thinking about Colton if we have a boy. I love the name Owen, and my nephew is Hudson which I think is really cute. I also like the name Franklin for a middle name.
