When I was pregnant with my first chold I had low amniotic fluid so they did an emergency c-section...4 years later i delivered my second child naturally...they induced me in morning and broke water bag and everything.....i finally got into active labor about 4 hrs after the induce...and i had pushed for only 2-3 hrs before she was born...i cant wait to get pregnant again and try a water birth next time! It was not all shook up to be! the pain was nothing and I do mean NOTHING like the c-section!I healed sooo much quicker and every thing...well hopefully this helped
I've had 3 vbacs, going for a 4th. My oldest was born via emergency c-section when I was 18. I have since had all my other children VBAC. My first was 5 years after my c-section. I have had no complications wtih VBAC thusfar. It's something I strongly recommend trying so long as your doc feels you can. With my oldest I didnt' get to experience ANY labor...so I've really enjoyed...yes enjoyed...experiencing all that is involved with being in labor and delivering. Two of my VBACS were with epidurals, one was natural. I'm not really sure if you're looking for answers to anything specific, but feel free to ask me anything.
